ABOUT ME!

Mattson Pearce Williams is a NYC based Dancer, Singer, Actor, Choreographer, and Interior/Floral Design Artist who has lived on the Upper West Side for Five years! Originally, Mattson is from the Outer Banks of North Carolina and grew up training in multiple styles of dance at Dance Theatre of Jacksonville and Impulse Dance Project. Mattson is known for his charismatic, witty, bright, and passionate nature as a performer onstage and as an educator in the classroom. Mattson has a deep passion for teaching up-and-coming dancers, guiding them to be the best versions of themselves on and offstage.

Mattson is a Graduating Alum from Marymount Manhattan College, earning a BA in Musical Theatre Performance.

Outside of auditioning and performing, Mattson works as a teacher/choreographer at multiple dance studios in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Alabama, Pennsylvania, and in Maine. He also works on the weekends for Revel Dance Convention as a Backstage manager, Emcee, and Staff Member . Other than his artistic endeavors, Mattson enjoys taking long bike rides through Central Park, gardening, cooking, painting, Hot yoga/pilates, helping friends with interior design projects, listening to Janis Joplin/Emily King, playing with dogs, hiking, running Riverside Park, and going to the Whitney Art Museum.

Mattson’s main goal in life is to dive deeper into the shared human experience and to create/perform pieces of theater that celebrates bringing people of all ages, races, genders, sexual orientations, religions, upbringing, and walks of life together.
